Hello Ladies and Gent, I'm back. I can honestly say the blogging thing is fun it's a great way to get your view out there along with questions. I will be gearing my conversation towards fashion and I hope I don't bore you along the way. My question to all is do anyone know of some great vintage stores besides the Westport area? I'm looking for timeless pieces. Thanks in advance:)
I'm unaware of any vintage stores, however, I have seen pieces of older looking clothing down at the River Market area at times.
ReplyDeleteAnother idea would be to post an ad on Craigslist. Also, I believe there are many items to be found in thrift shops. Have you tried those? I will be on the look out and will let you know if I happen to come across anything. Happy hunting!
Yes thrift shops! & that will be cheaper than a vintage shop. Thanks for the ideas.
DeleteDid you try Brookside? There is a bunch of stuff there (or at least used to be). I know that west of the plaza use to be an awesome one too, but I am not sure still in business.
ReplyDeleteOk thanks. I will check into it:)
ReplyDeleteI like vintage shopping to, the pieces are so timeless. When you find some new spots, update me. I think there might be some in the Overland Park area. Check the Ink Magazine or Pitch Weekly to see if they have any information on vintage stores.
ReplyDeleteThere are great vintage stores on 39th Street by KU hospital. Also... something I've been dying to do but life keeps getting in my way... is check out Good JuJu. Have you heard of it? I don't really know how to explain what it is, since I've not yet been there myself, but I hear a lot of good chatter about it. Check out their website: www.goodjuju.com (And if you beat me there... I want a full report!) :)
